Book Study - College Credit Option for Recertification

An book study designed for educators and leaders who want meaningful professional growth without the constraints of group pacing or schedules. Participants complete an independent reading study paired with personalized sessions facilitated by Dr. Volora Hanzlicek. The experience emphasizes reflection, application, and real-world impact connected directly to the participant’s role.

How It Works

• Individual Text Study: The participant picks one of the books selected by Dr. Hanzlicek that is aligned to their professional goals, content certification, or district focus.

• 1:1 Sessions: Dr. Hanzlicek facilitates structured coaching conversations to deepen understanding, challenge thinking, and connect learning to practice.

• Reflective Assignments: Participants complete targeted reflections and application tasks that demonstrate learning and implementation.

• Graduate Credit Option: Upon successful completion, participants may earn graduate-level professional development credit through Newman University (separate tuition and enrollment requirements apply).
